The Wonderland

Tic Tac Tic Tac; I always heard that noise since I was a child, Tic Tac Tic Tac, wake up, it’s time for school. Tic Tac Tic Tac, it’s time for breakfast ,you have to eat well to grow up quickly, Tic Tac Tic Tac, exams are so near, you have to get prepared and study well.
Tic Tac Tic Tac, you grew up and became beautiful young lady, it’s time to get married. Tic Tac Tic Tac, you have to have children, If you have one, it’s time to have two, if you have two it’s time to get three.
Tic Tac Tic Tac, life is a roller coaster, don’t waste your life, it’s too short, live every moment to its fullest.
Despite that noise was always so loud and made me so nervous and anxious, but it wake me up in the right time and guided me to the right track when I felt lost.
That’s why when I felt that the world was beating me down and I was about to give up my life dream; to become a writer, Tic Tac Tic Tac gave me my last chance for the countdown, the timer was on, my last chance was to close my eyes and travel to “Planet Wonderland”.

I followed my instincts and went to Wonderland; the only place where I could find peace of mind, solutions to all my problems, answers to all my curious questions, and reward to all my good deeds. I found a lot of ladders there; people climbing up and people getting down, I didn’t get it and asked myself: why people climbing up were so happy and the others were so upset?
In wonderland; there was no sun, the moon was red; it reflected its color on all roses, filled people’s hearts with forgiveness, tolerance, love and care for each other. There was no hate anymore, no fighting, no fears, no worries and no stress. Rivers were everywhere around you and the view was amazing.

But I found myself feeling lost: couldn’t climb any ladder, there was a heavy bag over my shoulders, I wanted to throw it away, I wanted to run so fast but was standing still. I said if only I had chance to turn back time; I would have followed my dream, I wouldn’t follow other people’s wishes or just satisfy my needs, I would have followed all my own wants and wishes, I would have listened to Tic Tac Tic Tac whom I thought it was my enemy, but actually if I was more wise, I would have made it my best friend.
Tic Tac awakened me up again, and told me “don’t worry, it was just a dream”.
